The Compassionate Inquiry® Approach

A trauma-informed approach for burnout, transition, and deeper self-understanding.

Compassionate Inquiry offers a gentle space to slow down, listen inwardly, and understand what your pain has been trying to communicate. Many of our struggles are rooted in experiences that once helped us survive but no longer serve us.

Through compassionate curiosity and presence, hidden emotions are given space, old stories soften, and the body can begin to release what it has been holding. From this place, a more spacious, authentic, and connected way of living can naturally emerge.

Grief tending

Grief circles and ceremonies - 1:1 or groups - bespoke to your needs

Grief is a natural, profound human experience that deserves attention and care. It recognises that grief isn’t only about bereavement; it shows up in many forms of loss — of relationships, health, roles, identity, dreams, or connection to the world. In many cultures, grief was traditionally witnessed and held in community, but in modern life it’s often carried alone, unspoken and unacknowledged. This can leave the heart constricted, the body tense, and the spirit depleted. Grief tending invites you to slow down, feel what’s arising, and allow your experience to be seen and met with presence and respect

Who This Work Is For?

  • Feel overwhelmed, numb, or disconnected from your emotions

  • Sense a deep, unnamed sadness or “weight” that hasn’t eased

  • Want to feel held in community rather than struggling privately

It offers:

  • A safe space to express and witness emotion without judgment

  • Practices that help ground the body, regulate nervous system responses, and deepen self‑awareness

  • Community or guided support so you don’t feel alone with your sorrow

  • Ritual, reflection, and presence as tools for tending sorrow with reverence rather than avoidance
